AI agents
You build your AI agents on your own platform. HCC connects them to calls and hands off to reps. We never write or edit an agent's prompt.
Connect a platform
In the dashboard, open Integrations and press Connect on your platform.
- ElevenLabs asks for an API key (
sk_…). - Generic SIP agent connects any agent you can reach over SIP.
Connecting syncs your agents at once. They show on Agents, read-only, each with an agt_… id. Press Sync now after adding one on the platform.
Connect an agent to a call
Bind the agent in a flow, and connect it when the call is answered:
import { agent, defineCallFlow, env } from '@hcc/sdk';
export const assistant = defineCallFlow(
'assistant',
{ agents: { qualifier: agent(env('QUALIFIER_AGENT_ID')) } },
function* (c) {
yield* c.connect('qualifier');
yield* c.hangup({ disposition: 'agent' });
},
);In test mode, agents join calls only through a flow. A call placed with agentId or connectAgent needs a live key, and a test key gets 400 agent_requires_flow.
What we write to your platform
Only two things, and only if your flow asks:
- Tools you declare and bind. We create, update and remove only the tools we created. See Agent tools.
- A test branch, if you set
testBranch: true. See The real agent in the Simulator.
What it costs
You pay your platform for its usage directly.
What to read next
- Agent tools: let an agent book a slot or look up an order.
- What a rep is told: the summary a rep sees after a handoff.
